The 2014 Joint Federal Pharmacy Seminar

The Joint Federal Pharmacy Seminar (JFPS), is the largest annual event for federal pharmacy colleagues from the VA, USPHS, Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians from the active duty, reserve, and retired communities, as well as civilian pharmacists and technicians assigned to DoD facilities, are invited to participate in this four-day, education-filled event. The American Pharmacists Association, working with the DoD Pharmacy Consultants and the JFPS Planning Committee, coordinates the education and meeting activities.

The American Pharmacists Association (APhA) was founded in 1842 as the first-established national professional society of pharmacists. It remains the largest association of pharmacists in the United States, boasting more than 60,000 members in all practice settings. APhA is the organization whose members are recognized in society as essential in all patient care settings for optimal medication use that improves health, wellness, and quality of life. Through information, education, and advocacy APhA empowers its members to improve medication use and advance patient care.
